OLA Electric – Complete Story. Review After 7K KM.

Why I Purchased Ola in First Lot.

Last Year When Ola Electric Was Previewed on 15 Aug 2021, I knew, This is The Bike I was Wating For. I had many Doubts and confusion in mind but I Booked it, as a Man behind OLA was talking about creating the biggest 2 Wheeler Manufacturing Hub. This investment created the trust and I booked it. On 15 September Registration was done and complete payment was done on 13th November 2021.

Delivery and Performance

I was bored waiting for my Ola Bike. As Promised, on 30th November, Bike was not received. I was patient as I know New Product takes time and I have booked Ola S1. Then the Delivery date was increased to 15 December and then to 30. I was planning to Cancel my booking and shift to hero Electric. Then I received a message that I will get Ola S1 Pro. I was happy even tho features will be blocked in my bike.

The date was 27 January 2022. Finally, my S1 was On my Door Step. The color was looking good. My Bike was in first bath delivery to Patna. I was few of the Lucky Customers to Own Ola In My City.

on 4th January I received Insurance mail of My bike. and 7th January Ola App was showing vehicle Dispatched. Ola People Contacted me on 20th January for Signature, To apply For RC. On 24th I received message from RTO that Vehicle is registered. On 26 They Called Me that they will deliver the Vehicle but delivery Was postpone due to Republic day. They Delivered the Vehicle on 27 January 2022. Ujwal and his Team From Ola Patna Delivered My Vehicle.

Issues in Ola, before updating to Move 0s 2.0

I faced only 2 issues but service support was awesome. They use to pick up my bike and fix it. I was happy that I don’t have to run with my bike to the service center.

  • Motor Warning Ligh- My Ola Bike started showing orange Light. I called customers to support they told me its Motor Light. The next day Guy visited and took the Bike For Service.
  • Poer Button Issue. My Ola Power Button Stopped Working. I was in Office when it happened. I left my bike and used public transport to reach home. The next day Ola’s Representative visited and took my bike for a fix.
  • 3rd issue was that I was not receiving the Move OS 2 Update. So Guy visited my Place and updated it manually.

So, I Have had a Smooth Experience With Ola till Now. There are a few things which are not provided as Claimed by the company. I will discuss it in the next blog.
